Private aviation for business

In short

When does a private jet make sense for business travel?

When the time of the people on board is worth more than the difference in fare, and when the trip does not fit an airline schedule: three cities in a day, a site visit to an airport with no scheduled service, a board meeting that ends when it ends. We source the aircraft for each trip from licensed operators, name the operator and the aircraft before you commit, and quote each itinerary individually. There is no membership or block of hours to buy.

01How it works

Arranging private aviation for business

Multiple destinations in one day

The clearest case for business aviation is the itinerary an airline cannot do: London to Frankfurt for a morning meeting, on to Zurich for lunch, back to London for the evening. One aircraft and one crew wait at each stop, so the schedule moves when the meetings do. The limit is the crew’s duty day, which shortens as the number of sectors rises; a long multi-stop day may need a second crew or an overnight, and the broker plans the itinerary around that rather than discovering it on the day.

Smaller airports, closer to the meeting

Business aviation uses airports that scheduled flights do not, and they are often nearer where you are going: Farnborough or Biggin Hill rather than Heathrow for London, Le Bourget rather than Charles de Gaulle for Paris, Teterboro rather than JFK for Manhattan. Passengers go through a private terminal, with customs and security handled in minutes rather than queues. The time saved is usually on the ground at either end, not in the air — which is also why it is the same on a one-hour flight as on a six-hour one.

Privacy

A private cabin is a place to talk about the deal. The passenger list goes only to the operator and to the border and aviation authorities that require it; we do not publish who flies with us, and no client appears on this site. If a trip needs a confidentiality agreement with the operator, or a lead passenger booked under a company name rather than an individual one, say so in the request.

Groups and teams

A heavy jet seats roughly twelve to sixteen in a configuration that allows a table meeting on the way; a VIP airliner takes a management offsite or an event team of thirty or more with their equipment. For a conference or roadshow, several aircraft can be arranged for different legs. The larger the group, the earlier it is worth asking: large-cabin aircraft are fewer, and on event weeks they are booked early.

Invoicing, VAT and terms

Each trip has its own written quotation and charter agreement, which can be addressed to the company that is paying. International flights are generally zero-rated or exempt from VAT; some domestic flights are not — a domestic UK flight on an aircraft with fewer than ten seats, for example, carries VAT — and the quotation itemises it. Cancellation terms are the operator’s and are stated before you confirm. Travel policies that require a named operator, an audited safety standard or a minimum aircraft age can be applied to every option we send.

02Constraints

Worth knowing before you ask

  • Crew duty limits shorten a multi-sector day; long itineraries may need two crews.

  • Some business airports close at night or require slots at peak times.

  • Large-cabin aircraft are booked early around major conferences and events.

  • VAT depends on the route and the aircraft, and is itemised in the quotation.

What to send with the request

Every service has two or three details that change the answer entirely. Including them in the first message turns one exchange into a quote instead of four.

The full itinerary, with fixed times
Every stop and the times that cannot move — a meeting start, a last train, a return the same evening. The broker builds the aircraft and crew plan around the fixed points.
Number of passengers and any equipment
Samples, display material or camera equipment can decide the aircraft as much as the headcount does.
Company policy requirements
A required safety audit standard, a minimum aircraft age or the billing entity. Stated once, they are applied to every option.

05Before you pay

What we commit to on every booking

We have no completed flights to point at yet, and we are not going to invent any. What we can do is put the terms in writing before you ask for them.

What we commit to

  1. Nothing is charged before the aircraft is confirmed.

You receive the operating carrier’s legal name, its AOC number and the aircraft registration in writing before any invoice or wallet address is issued. If those three things are not in front of you, you have not been asked to pay yet.

  2. One commission, inside the price you were quoted.

Our margin is already in the number you agreed to. There is no second invoice, no booking fee added at the end, and no separate charge for arranging the flight. If the total moves after you have accepted it, the reason is a change you asked for.

  3. No surcharge on any payment method, including cryptocurrency.

Card, bank transfer, USDT, Bitcoin and cash settle at the same price. We do not price crypto as a premium service, and we do not discount it to move you onto a rail that is harder to reverse.

  4. If the operator cancels, you choose the remedy — not us.

Aircraft go technical and operators occasionally fail. When that happens before departure you are offered a replacement aircraft on equivalent terms or a full refund, and the choice between them is yours. We do not get to decide that a substitute was good enough.

These form part of our terms of business. If any of them changes, the change is dated there rather than made quietly here.

Questions

Who sees my itinerary?
Your broker, and the operator flying you — that is all. We do not sell or share passenger data, we do not add you to marketing sequences, and we do not publish or resell itineraries. Operators receive only the passenger details aviation authorities require them to hold.
Can I see the aircraft registration before I book?
Yes, where it is available. The written quotation names the aircraft type and year, the operating company and its AOC, and the registration — the tail number — of the aircraft offered. You can look the registration up on the public register of the country it is registered in, without asking us. Occasionally an operator confirms the exact tail only when the charter agreement is signed, because it may substitute an identical aircraft from its own fleet; when that is the case we say so, and the substitution terms are in the contract.
How much does it cost to charter a private jet?
There is no fixed price. As indicative starting points, light jets from about $3,200 per flight hour, super-midsize jets from about $6,000 per flight hour, heavy jets from about $8,000 per flight hour and ultra-long-range aircraft from about $11,500 per flight hour, plus positioning and ground handling at both ends. Each route page shows an indicative starting price for that trip. Those figures are starting prices, not quotes: the price of your flight is calculated individually and depends on aircraft availability, where the aircraft is positioned, the date, the operating company and airport charges.
Can you move a large group — a team, a crew, a wedding party?
Yes. Above roughly 16 passengers the aircraft moves from a business jet to a VIP airliner such as an ACJ319 or a BBJ, which carry 18 to 50 people in a private configuration. For a sports team or a film crew the deciding factor is usually baggage and equipment volume rather than seat count, so send the equipment list with the request.
