Helicopter transfers
In short
Can you arrange a helicopter from the airport?
Yes, and on some routes it is the part of the journey that saves the most time. Nice to Monaco takes six minutes by helicopter against forty-five by road in summer traffic. The transfer is arranged with the flight so the helicopter is on the apron when you land, rather than booked separately and hoped for.
01How it works
Arranging helicopter transfers
Where it genuinely pays
Nice to Monaco, Geneva to the Alpine resorts in winter, and airport-to-city hops in places where the road is the bottleneck. Elsewhere a car is faster once you account for boarding, and we will say so — a helicopter that saves ten minutes and costs two thousand dollars is not a service worth selling.
What stops it
Weather, more often than anything else. Helicopters operate under visibility minima that jets do not, so a landing that is routine for your aircraft can be impossible for the transfer an hour later. Always have the road alternative agreed in advance; on a tight schedule, plan around the car and treat the helicopter as the upgrade.
Arranging it with the flight, not after
A helicopter booked separately is a helicopter that is somewhere else when your jet lands twenty minutes late. Arranged together, the operator holds the machine against your actual arrival and repositions with it — which costs a little more and works. The other reason to book them together is airside access: at several airports a helicopter can collect you from the same apron your aircraft parks on, so you never enter a terminal, but that only happens if both operators know about each other in advance. Always agree the road alternative at the same time. Helicopters operate under visibility minima that jets do not, so a landing that is routine for your aircraft can be impossible for the transfer an hour later, and on a tight schedule the sensible plan is to budget for the car and treat the helicopter as the upgrade.
02Constraints
Worth knowing before you ask
Landing sites are often private property and need the owner’s permission, which takes a day rather than an hour.
Single-engine helicopters are restricted over built-up areas in several countries, which changes which machine can serve a city address.
Weather cancels helicopter legs far more often than jet legs.
Baggage capacity is small; heavy luggage usually follows by road.
Night operations are restricted at many helipads.
04Your part
What to send with the request
Every service has two or three details that change the answer entirely. Including them in the first message turns one exchange into a quote instead of four.
- The exact addresses
- Not the city. A helicopter leg is only worth flying when the road journey it replaces is genuinely slow, and that depends on where you are actually going.
- The connecting flight details
- So the helicopter is on the apron when you land rather than booked separately and hoped for. Arrival time slippage is normal and we plan around it.
- Baggage
- Capacity is small. Heavy luggage usually follows by road, which needs arranging at the same time rather than discovered at the aircraft.
05Before you pay
What we commit to on every booking
We have no completed flights to point at yet, and we are not going to invent any. What we can do is put the terms in writing before you ask for them.
What we commit to
Nothing is charged before the aircraft is confirmed.
You receive the operating carrier’s legal name, its AOC number and the aircraft registration in writing before any invoice or wallet address is issued. If those three things are not in front of you, you have not been asked to pay yet.
One commission, inside the price you were quoted.
Our margin is already in the number you agreed to. There is no second invoice, no booking fee added at the end, and no separate charge for arranging the flight. If the total moves after you have accepted it, the reason is a change you asked for.
No surcharge on any payment method, including cryptocurrency.
Card, bank transfer, USDT, Bitcoin and cash settle at the same price. We do not price crypto as a premium service, and we do not discount it to move you onto a rail that is harder to reverse.
If the operator cancels, you choose the remedy — not us.
Aircraft go technical and operators occasionally fail. When that happens before departure you are offered a replacement aircraft on equivalent terms or a full refund, and the choice between them is yours. We do not get to decide that a substitute was good enough.
These form part of our terms of business. If any of them changes, the change is dated there rather than made quietly here.

Route, date and how many people is enough to start. Anything specific to this service — an animal, an equipment list, a medical report — can follow in the same thread.
Questions
- How early do I need to arrive at the airport?
- Fifteen minutes before departure at a private terminal, and often less. There is no check-in desk and no security queue. On international departures passport control happens at the FBO, usually in under five minutes. At many airports your car can drive to the aircraft steps.
- How much luggage can I take?
- Baggage is limited by volume, not by piece count — around 50 cubic feet on a light jet and 115 on a heavy jet. Skis, golf bags and oversized cases are fine but must be declared when you request the quote, because they can change which aircraft works. Weight matters on long legs: a full cabin plus heavy baggage can shorten range enough to add a fuel stop.
- How quickly can you find me a private jet?
- Usually within 15 minutes, at any hour. Send the route, the date and the number of passengers, and you get back concrete aircraft with an all-in price. If the route needs a landing permit — Saudi Arabia and India are the common cases — availability comes back in minutes but the permit itself can take 24 to 48 hours, and we will say so in the first reply rather than after you have paid.
- How far in advance do I need to book?
- Four to six hours is usually enough for a domestic or intra-European leg if an aircraft is already positioned nearby. Intercontinental flights need longer for crew duty time, overflight and landing permits. The genuine constraints are seasonal: Nice and Ibiza in July, Geneva in ski season, and Riyadh at any time because of permit lead times.
- Who sees my itinerary?
- Your broker, and the operator flying you — that is all. We do not sell or share passenger data, we do not add you to marketing sequences, and we do not publish or resell itineraries. Operators receive only the passenger details aviation authorities require them to hold.
- Am I talking to a person or a bot?
- A person. One broker handles your request from the first message to wheels-up, in Telegram, by email or through the request form, and you keep the same contact for the next trip. There is no call-centre queue, no automated sequence and no account manager handover.
