Private jet charter

Istanbul to Dubai by private jet

In short

How much does a private jet from Istanbul to Dubai cost?

Istanbul to Dubai is about 1,640 nautical miles and roughly four and a half hours non-stop, within range of a midsize aircraft and everything above it. It is also the leg most often flown as a technical stop on longer European–Gulf routings, which means aircraft are frequently positioned at one end or the other.

Indicative prices start around $25,500–$42,000 on the smallest suitable aircraft, and the full range for every class that can fly the leg is below.

What comes back, and how the number was reached

We have no completed flights to point at and no reviews to show you, so instead here is the thing itself: the shape of the reply this route produces, and the arithmetic behind the band above. Both are generated from the same data as every other figure on this page.

A specimen, and marked as one. The distance, block time and price band above are computed for this route by the same model that produces every table on this site. The tail number is deliberately not a real one, and the operator, rating and audit date are shown as the fields they occupy rather than invented — a live reply carries the actual values in each.

How that number is reached

  1. 1,642 nmGreat circle, from the two airports’ coordinates
  2. × 1.06Published airways run longer — 1,741 nm flown
  3. ÷ 440 ktLong-range cruise for this class

  5. 4 h 25 minBlock time — what an operator charges for
  6. × $4,500–$6,500Wet hourly rate band for the class
  7. + 15%Positioning — the aircraft rarely starts where you do
  8. + $4,000–$8,500Landing and ground handling at both ends
Rounded out to a band$25,500–$42,000

Computed at build time from the airport coordinates in our airports table and the rate bands in our aircraft table, by the same functions that produce every other figure on this site. The result is deliberately a band and not a fare: the largest single cost driver is where the aircraft happens to be that week, and a broker who quotes you one number before checking is guessing at it.

03The aircraft

Cabin, class by class

The price table answers what the leg costs. This answers what you are sitting in for the duration — which on a sector of this length is usually the question that decides the booking. Cabin height is the line that matters most: below roughly six feet you spend the flight seated.

04The line

What is in the price

The bands on this page are all-in for the aircraft rather than a headline rate with extras bolted on afterwards. Here is exactly where the line falls, so that the quote you receive contains no surprises.

What the price includes

  • The aircraft, its crew and their duty time for your itinerary.
  • Fuel for the sector, including any repositioning the operator has to fly to reach you.
  • Landing, parking, navigation and FBO handling at both airports — roughly $4,000 to $8,500 on this pair for a heavy jet.
  • Standard catering. Anything more elaborate is quoted before you commit, never added afterwards.
  • Our commission. There is no second invoice and no booking fee.

What it does not

  • Value-added tax where the route attracts it. Intra-EU sectors usually do; most international ones do not.
  • De-icing in winter, which is charged at cost by the airport and cannot be predicted in advance.
  • Peak-period surcharges, where the route has a season.
  • Overflight or landing permits that carry a government fee, which are passed through at cost.
  • Ground transport, hotels and anything arranged for you outside the aircraft.

05Demand

Who flies this route

Business and family traffic in both directions, without a strong season. Because Istanbul is a natural staging point between Europe and the Gulf, this route sees more one-way demand than most — which is exactly the condition that produces empty legs.

06Timing

When it is expensive

No meaningful seasonality. This is one of the better routes to ask about a repositioning flight, because so many aircraft transit it empty on their way somewhere else.

07On the ground

The airports at each end

Istanbul handling is materially cheaper than most European fields, which is why the fixed component of this quote is lower than the distance would suggest. The IGA general aviation terminal is slot-controlled but rarely constrained. At the Dubai end, Al Maktoum is the practical choice for parking.

08Verify, do not trust

Everything on this page can be checked by someone else

Once we name the operator flying you, you can confirm its audit status and the aircraft’s registration without asking us anything. Here is where, and here is what we commit to in the meantime.

The audits

  • Confirms whether an operator holds an ARGUS Gold, Gold Plus or Platinum rating, and when it was last audited. It says nothing about price or availability.

  • Lists operators that have passed a Wingman audit. An operator absent from it is not necessarily unsafe — plenty of good operators carry ARGUS or IS-BAO instead — but an operator claiming Wingman status should appear here.

  • The same directory at the higher standard, which adds recurrent crew and aircraft checks.

  • IBAC publishes the standard and its three stages but does not run a public lookup, so IS-BAO registration is evidenced by the operator’s certificate rather than by a search. Ask for it; a registered operator will send it without hesitating.

The aircraft registers

  • FAA N-number inquiry

    N — United States

Confirms that a US-registered tail number exists, its make and model, its year and its registered owner. If the aircraft offered to you does not appear, stop.

  • UK CAA G-INFO

    G — United Kingdom

The United Kingdom civil aircraft register: type, year, registered owner and operator.

  • The Irish register, which carries a large share of European-based business aircraft.

  • A register used almost exclusively by privately owned business aircraft.

  • Another common register for corporate aircraft, particularly larger types.

These are other people’s services and we do not control them. Every link was opened and confirmed on . If one of them has moved since, tell us and we will fix it — and in the meantime, ask us for the operator’s certificate directly.

While you are deciding

  1. Nothing is charged before the aircraft is confirmed.

You receive the operating carrier’s legal name, its AOC number and the aircraft registration in writing before any invoice or wallet address is issued. If those three things are not in front of you, you have not been asked to pay yet.

  2. One commission, inside the price you were quoted.

Our margin is already in the number you agreed to. There is no second invoice, no booking fee added at the end, and no separate charge for arranging the flight. If the total moves after you have accepted it, the reason is a change you asked for.

  3. If the operator cancels, you choose the remedy — not us.

Aircraft go technical and operators occasionally fail. When that happens before departure you are offered a replacement aircraft on equivalent terms or a full refund, and the choice between them is yours. We do not get to decide that a substitute was good enough.

These form part of our terms of business. If any of them changes, the change is dated there rather than made quietly here.

The bands above are estimates. A quote is a firm price for a specific aircraft from a named operator, and it usually comes back within 15 minutes. Nothing is charged until you have the tail number in writing.

10Questions

Questions about this route

How quickly can you find me a private jet?
Usually within 15 minutes, at any hour. Send the route, the date and the number of passengers, and you get back concrete aircraft with an all-in price. If the route needs a landing permit — Saudi Arabia and India are the common cases — availability comes back in minutes but the permit itself can take 24 to 48 hours, and we will say so in the first reply rather than after you have paid.
What payment methods do you accept?
Card, SWIFT and SEPA bank transfer, Bitcoin, USDT (TRC-20 and ERC-20), and cash on departure where local law permits it. There is no account to open and no compliance onboarding to complete before you can request a quote — identity checks happen once, on the flight you actually book.
